Hello TDM Neighbors,
Hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far! We are sharing a few community-related updates and information. Also attached in case you missed it the first time around, is our spring/summer 2022 newsletter. Just a reminder that our annual community & yard sale this year is not being held. We are looking forward to holding a bigger and better event next year. We are pleased to announce, however, that a couple of TDM neighbors, Jim & Rita Spring and Terri Allen, are going ahead with their own smaller yard sale at the community hall this weekend, starting Friday & Saturday, August 5 & 6. Please stop by and say hello to them!
Labor Day Weekend TDM Community Meeting: Please save the date on your calendars for our next community meeting on Saturday, September 3 at 1:00 p.m. Meeting will be held at the TDM community hall on Bilyeu Ave.
New TDMCA Website: At our annual meeting in May we announced our new TDMCA website. A sincere thank you to Greg Beddor of Webfu and our volunteers for helping to bring our community closer with our new website.
TDM Community Hall Repair Project: The exterior shingles of the south wall of the hall need to be replaced before the rainy season begins this year. We’ve been discussing the repair project at our community meetings this last year and hope to plan a TDM “work party” over the Labor Day weekend or thereabouts and would like to invite you to join us if you have any siding/shingle replacement skills or construction experience, materials, labor, funds to donate to the project.
Free Shuttle: Don’t forget the Pacific City free shuttle that has stops in TDM on Holly and Gage Avenue and will take you all the way to both Sitka Sedge and Pacific City for free. Check out the link to see the shuttle route and times/schedule.
Surf Event: For all you TDM surfers, the annual Cape Kiwanda Longboard Classic surfing event starts on Friday, September 17. For more info see the flyer below or visit their website: https://cape kiwanda longboard classic.com/
