Notification of meeting dates and times for the two upcoming Beltz Dike/Sitka Sedge public hearings with the Tillamook County Planning Commission on October 8, 2026, and the Board of Commissioners on November 4, 2026. The public hearings will review and consider the land use permit applications including the breach of Beltz Dike/new setback dike related to the State Park’s fish passage and estuary habitat restoration project. As you all know, this is a very complex project and has been an ongoing concern for our community for many years.
PUBLIC COMMENTS/WRITTEN TESTIMONY FOR OCTOBER 8 HEARING
The date for written testimony/public comment to be included in the Planning Commission October 8, 2026 hearing packet is September 28, 2026 at 4:00pm. However, written testimony can be submitted up to 8:00 a.m. of October 8, 2026 to be included in the meeting that day.
